Cute Outfit Idea for Thanksgiving

Hey, y’all! Happy Friday!

Thanksgiving is only a little over a month away, and I’m already daydreaming about eating some yummy stuffing balls and pumpkin pie 😋Although I’m trying to not rush into it, especially because I’m enjoying how beautiful fall is here in Ohio right now! But if you’re looking some fashion inspo for the upcoming turkey-eating holiday that’s not just a simple dress with heels and tights, you came to the right place my friend!

I bought this rusty mauve cardigan from Francesca’s this summer originally to wear as sort of a coverup for the beach when I went to Isle of Palms, SC. But when I wore it to go to work one day with a black maxi dress, I became obsessed with how it looked and realized I could wear it with so many different outfits rather than a bathing suit! It’s also super soft and cozy, which is very essential for fall fashion! I bought this pearl satin twist headband at Anthropologie last year on Black Friday (typically most of their headbands cost around $14-$24 or more at full price). As soon as I saw it, it just screamed fall! And the rusty mauve satin matches perfectly with the kimono, which is a win-win. With these two pieces I like to pair with my black crewneck tank top from Target (only $8.00!), my denim skirt from Madewell, and black high knee heeled suede boots (which I think were from DSW, but a lot of retailers thankfully have shoes like these). With this look, you got the perfect autumn outfit that’s very fitting for a Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving gathering!

One fashion item that would be a super cute and stylish addition to this look would be pantyhose! I got to be real for a hot second though, I DESPISE pantyhose. As good as they look would a lot of outfits with skirts and dresses, I can’t stand wearing them! No matter how cold it is outside, I would much rather have my legs be a tad more chilly than wear pantyhose 🤣 If you’re the complete opposite and actually don’t mind wearing them or if it’s unbearably more cold outside in November (which is usually the case in Ohio), then absolutely go for it!

Who else is excited for Thanksgiving? Comment below and share, as well as your favorite food to eat during the holiday! I want to know!
