Brunch Girl Style

Weekends are the absolute best. Not only do I get to go out for a night on the town with some gal pals and church on Sunday morning, but also for another special occasion: brunch!!

Who doesn't love brunch with your family or friends on a beautiful Saturday or Sunday morning in the summertime? Being able to sleep in a little bit is always nice, especially after a long week of working from 9 to 5. It's also nice because you don't have to worry about lunch because brunch is basically breakfast and lunch combined, and breakfast is the most important meal of the day! I'm down for brunch every day, I love breakfast food. Over-easy eggs, bacon, toast, pancakes, waffles, French toast, coffee, mimosas, you name it. I'll eat and drink it all if I could!

There's only one tricky part about brunch: what to wear?

This past Saturday, my friend Delaney and I met together for brunch at Blue Door Cafe & Bakery (located five minutes from Downtown Akron). It's a cute little breakfast spot with delicious chocolate hazelnut crepes, breakfast sandwiches, and much more. It was a perfect morning, especially because I got to wear my new jumpsuit from Anthropologie! I bought it while I was in Santa Barbara for $148, and this is the first time I've worn it out. It was a little too warm outside to wear it, but it still had a chicness that was too good to be true!

It's a sanctuary surplice jumpsuit that embodies a "carefree California style and edgy East Coast fashion equally". I love that description because it's so relevant! I love the navy blue color and casual chic look. What I also love is that it's great for summer and I can also wear it in the upcoming autumn with the mild outdoor temperature. I love everything about it, it was definitely worth the purchase!

To go along with the jumpsuit, I wore my olive brown sandal wedges - also from Anthropologie -, my sunglasses from Ray-Ban, my olive green crossbody purse from Francesca's, and my gold layered necklace - also from Francesca's. It all kept the look simple but added a little spunk at the same time.
