It Girl

What exactly is an "it girl"? Urban Dictionary defines the term as "the girl that everyone wants to be." Basically, the popular cheerleader in high school, the sorority president/fraternity sweetheart, or the celebrity Instagram model that everyone is following. That's the it girl that were referring to. 

I may not be your typical it girl (I'm just a girl, which I'm cool with), but this outfit makes me feel like an it girl big time. Pleaded pants, trendy checked blazer, newsboy hat, white tee with a French word and pointed black pumps, I feel like I'm ready to attend Fashion Week! It's a very trendy outfit, but at the same time I feel like I made it unique with my sense of spunky style. I love every bit of it!

I just recently bought both the gray checked blazer and pink pleaded pants from Zara. I saw them both hung up in different sections of the store, but some random voice crossed my mind and said, "These pieces would match perfectly together." So I tried them on and boy was that voice right, it matched absolutely perfect together. I looked in the mirror and said to myself, "There's no way I can say no to this, I'm never gonna find another outfit as chic and similar as this!" I'm so glad that I bought them, I'm obsessed. I've never felt more like a total fashionista!

I'm especially happy about this blazer which I can style with casual ripped jeans and shorts. The pleaded pants were a nice treat and something I've always wanted. They're so comfortable and spunky at the same time! 

I've had my Calvin Klein newsboy hat for a few years already. It wasn't until recently I took it out of my closet to wear with this outfit, and it made it look so much more chic and it girl-like! Newsboy hats have been coming back in style, which I'm totally all for.  

To complete the good look, I add a little more combination of spunk and class with my "Merci" graphic tee from Anthropologie, black heels from J. Crew, olive green crossbody purse from Francesca's, and some fancy jewelry from Rocksbox.
